While the Texas sun is shining brightly on the
little town of Parkerville, murder, mayhem and
romantic intrigue darken every corner. Mrs. Nesbitt,
the owner of the cafe, and the resident doom-sayer is
proclaiming dire happenings for the entire town. Helen
Caldwell, the “nose for news” reporter is poking
her nose into everyone’s business, while her husband,
Edgar, is lurking in the background, using the town’s
secrets for his own ends. Riley Parker is leading the
town’s bad boy, Devlin Faulkner on a merry chase,
while her sister, Lou Parker is dealing with bigger
problems. Her estranged (and strange) ex-husband
shows up in Parkerville looking for something, and he
thinks that Lou has it. Bo Parker discovers something
illegal in the woods just outside of town, and Sheriff
Jonathon stumbles over a dead body while trying to
find Bo. Mrs. Nesbitt’s prophecy is about to be tested.
Will they be able to sort everything out in time
for a happy ending?
